Coronavirus: Leicester City Reveals Update On Iheanacho and Teammates

Premier League club Leicester City have released a cheering update about their players including the Nigerian duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi

The Foxes had moved to quarantine their players since the outbreak of the coronavirus in the UK and going by the updates in the official statement released on Thursday, there is no cause for alarm for neither the Naija boys nor their teammates.

“Our players continue to train remotely and the Club remains agile to the changing requirements of this unprecedented scenario as it develops.” The Foxes wrote on their official website on Thursday.

It added: “The Club sends its very best wishes to all supporters and stakeholders at this time and looks forward to the resumption of football as soon as it is safe and possible for it to return.”

Despite presently occupying the third spot and at risk of being denied that honour if the entire EPL season is voided as presently being muted, the Foxes are unperturbed as they insist that the safety of people takes precedence.

“Leicester City Football Club welcomes the decision reached by the professional football bodies in England today (Thursday), as the game’s stakeholders continue to adapt to the evolving challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
