COVID-19: Osinbajo Result is out, Tested.

 Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who has been on self-isolation following his interaction with COVID-19-infected Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, has reportedly tested negative to the virus.

According to a tweet on Wednesday morning by Babafemi Ojudu, Special Adviser to the President on Political Affairs, the Vice President’s test result came back negative.

“Vice President Yemi Osinbajo tested negative,” he tweeted on Wednesday morning,” the Ekiti State-born political tweeted.

Osinbajo had not previously announced that he was being tested for the virus even though his spokesman, Laolu Akande, confirmed on Tuesday that Osinbajo had gone into self-isolation and working from home.

Bauchi Governor, Bala Mohammed, Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Bauchi governor, Bala Mohammed, has tested positive for coronavirus. This is according to a release by the Bauchi State government, signed by Senior Special Assistant (Media), Mukhtar Gididado. The statement made public on Tuesday contained that, “this is to inform the general public that the result of the six tests carried out one sample was confirmed positive of Covid-19 adding that the positive result happened to be that of his excellency  Sen.Bala Mohammed”

He added that ” At this point, it should be noted that the governor is in self-isolation as his doctors and officials from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control have taken full charge of his quarantine”

Gidado said further that the governor has advised anyone who earlier came in contact with him to go for an immediate test to avoid further spread of the COVID-19 epidemic.

It would be recalled that Governor Bala Mohammed had gone into self-isolation following contact with the former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar’s son , Mohammed Atiku Abubakar, who earlier tested positive to the virus.
