Churches And Mosques Must Follow These 5 Guidelines

Churches And Mosques Must Follow These 5 Guidelines As The Ban Is Being Lifted Or Forget Opening.

The federal government has finally lifted the ban on religious gatherings across the country. Remember that the government had imposed the ban on religious bodies two months ago to check the spread of Covid-19.
The decision was taken by the President after being briefed by the presidential taskforce (PTF) on Covid-19 led by the secretary to the governement, Boss Mustapha. In addition, the PTF submitted its recommendation which the President approved for implementation over the next four weeks spanning 2nd-29th June 2020 which is subject to review.
Some guidelines were dished out for churches and mosques to follow as a way of helping to curb the virus spread. Below are the guidelines..
1. Not more than 20 people should be in any given religious session or gathering.
2. Mandatory use of non medical face masks for all religious worshippers when coming to worship.
3. Mandatory provision of handwashing facilities/sanitisers in all religious bodies' entrance or exit doors.
4. Extensive or random temperature checks of members as they come in into the church or mosque.
5. All elderly and those with underlying health conditions should not be mixed with others in any religious gatherings. They should be given a special place to stay when they come to worship
